First of all, let us know some detailed information about Cloudflare.

What is Cloudflare?

Cloudflare is one of the most popular  CDNs. CDN's full  Content Delivery Network. The reason for its popularity is that it can be used for premium as well as for free. However, it will not give you the same service as any hosting. When a visitor enters your website, CloudFlare takes that bandwidth to its own server. As a result, much less bandwidth is used than our main hosting.

Why use Cloudflare?

You should think about why not use it. Because of the services that Cloudflare provides for free, to my knowledge no other company provides them. It is mainly used to speed up the website. The speed of the website is much faster through its casing system. You will get free SSL on the site through Cloudflare. Cloudflare also protects the site from various types of spam.

Cloudflare is also possible if you want to access your website only in certain IPs or in certain countries. We often want mobile users to see one site or theme and PC users another. This means that the desktop version and the mobile version of the site to show separately. This system can be done through various plugins using WordPress. But it is a lot of trouble on the script site. But Cloudflare can solve this problem.

You can manage the DNS of your domain through Cloudflare. Cloudflare will also offer many more opportunities.

Disadvantages of Cloudflare:

When it comes to something, it is better to say both advantages and disadvantages. But the advantages outweigh the disadvantages of Cloudflare. Due to the casing system, it is often seen that the latest content of your site is not showing the previous ones. Although it can be stopped. Also when adding a subdomain to your domain, you need to manually add DNS records to Cloudflare. Otherwise, the sub-domain will not work.

Cloudflare setup:

Let's come to the main topic. Cloudflare is basically related to hosting. So you don't have to do anything on the web site to set it up and you can set it up very easily. Follow the steps below carefully:

  • First, go to  this link and create a Cloudflare account

  • Once the account is created, log in and click Add a Site from the Home tab

  • Then click on Add site with a link to your site

  • Select your plan. If you want to use for free Free select Confirm plan, click on

  • Then if any DNS is already added to your domain, they will be scanned, then click Continue

  • The next step is to add the Cloudflare Name Server to the domain. Once the Name Server has been added, click Done, check nameservers

  • Now complete the required settings by clicking on getting started. If your domain already has SSL, select Full, and if SSL is not, select Flexible.

  • We're done. It will take about 5-10 minutes for the domain to be connected to Cloudflare's Name Server. However, in some cases, it may take more than that. If the Name Server is connected correctly, a message like below will show on the Overview tab.

If you want to remove your site or stop temporarily from Cloudflare, the Overview tab at the bottom of the Advanced Actions temporarily To stop  Pause Cloudflare on Site, and if you want to remove  Remove Site from Cloudflare click.
